Mock-Up:

Boutique Window Display

These designs were for a local boutique selling women’s accessories and clothing. The client asked for window display design that would be used for higher-end products and merchandise. Emphasis was placed on design techniques such as rhythm, balance, texture, color, and cohesive composition—all within an 4 × 8 space. Included is an estimated material cost, mood board, and a color swatch.

My design draws from a more antiquated aesthetic—mainly including Victorian and early twentieth century ornaments and vignettes shown within the oval frames and fabric wall space. The color palette I choose was to evoke a sense of levity and fun the to the more mature, classical elements of the piece. The idea was to balance sophisticated materials with a more playful color tone to create a sense of interest for the average customer.
